Float DC was established in 2019 and our goal was to provide a safe, fun and eco-friendly way to enjoy the beautiful waterways of Washington, DC.  Our vessels are 100% electric and cruise at a very safe top speed of 5 mph.  These Scandinavian designed boats can be captained by anyone over the age of 21 with a valid drivers license.

Don’t be afraid to be your own captain!  If you haven’t completed your boaters safety course we offer an 1-day license option that will give you the confidence and knowledge you need to navigate the Washington Channel!  The goal is to get you excited about being on the water and give you an opportunity to see how much fun you can have boating once you’ve completed your boaters safety course.
